CALOURA BLUES
The 2nd edition of Caloura Blues returns to one of the most emblematic areas of the island of São Miguel, the cliffs of Baixa d'Area, in the village of Água de Pau, continuing a completely renewed concept, in an event assumed by the Lagoa Municipal Council .
From July 26 to 27, Caloura Blues brings to the Azores' largest island the American musical genre, which marked an entire generation, from the 1960s and 1970s, providing sunsets and musical evenings reinforced by the paradisiacal lagoon landscapes, where both, in a set perfect, will dazzle all participants.
The first artist revealed for the 2nd edition of this festival, is the unforgettable blues man Boo Boo Davis, who will make his debut live in the Azores, and which carries the soul of the Mississippi itself.

Caloura Blues is nominated in four categories at the Iberian Festival Awards: Best New Festival, Best Small Festival, Best Communication and Best Live Performance with Maria João & Buddha Power Blues

A 2ª edição do Caloura Blues regressa a uma das mais emblemáticas zonas da ilha de São Miguel, as falésias da Baixa d´Areia, na vila de Água de Pau, dando continuidade a um conceito completamente renovado, num evento assumido pela Câmara Municipal de Lagoa.
De 26 a 27 de julho, o Caloura Blues traz à maior ilha dos Açores o género musical americano, que marcou toda uma geração, das décadas de 1960 e 1970, proporcionando entardeceres e noites musicais reforçadas pelas paradisíacas paisagens lagoenses, onde ambas, num conjunto perfeito, deslumbrarão todos os participantes.
O primeiro artista revelado para a 2ª edição deste festival, é o incontornável blues man Boo Boo Davis, que irá fazer a sua estreia ao vivo nos Açores, e que carrega em si a alma do Mississipi.
